The Brilliant 2016 Hyundai Tucson [Car Review]

hyundiatucsonI’m the main driver in our family and I like to do a lot of research as a consumer. My father was the same way. Some Greek genes definitely funneled through to me, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity to test drive the 2016 Hyundai Tucson for a week.

Rated Best Compact SUV for the Money by U.S. News & World Report and a winner of the Kelly Blue Book 5-Year Cost To Own Awards, I could list all the awesome features of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson. But you can read that on a million car review sites so I’d rather share our story with you. A Tucson, a mom, and 2 little kids take Manhattan!

This trip was full of some new and familiar experiences for the littles. While my son has been to a couple of Broadway shows, this was my daughter’s first trip. After a painless trip driving over to Times Square, we met up with Cousin Tommy, Aunt T, and Grandma, to watch Aladdin on Broadway. This show was amazing due to the spectacularly talented cast and laugh-out-loud funny.Aladdin on BroadwayTo use a technical term (told you like I research), this CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) transported us around during our trip in style. While there is superb interior space and excellent visibility, it was the brilliant driving experience that surpassed my expectations. The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is an awesome vehicle to drive whether it was on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, stuck in traffic on the LIE headed into Manhattan, or driving out to the beach on Long Island.

2016 Hyundai Tucson Car ReviewWhile I’m not a fan of traffic, it was a way of life growing up around NYC and eventually living there for a long time. I was truly appreciative of the fluid design of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson. While compact, it does not feel tight, and while it has all the bells and whistles you would expect, it shines in its handling, responsiveness, and comfortable interior. Can you tell the kids agree?
Hyundai Tucson ReviewWith visits to Grandma, Aunt T and Uncle Frank in Staten Island, Cousin Tommy in Brooklyn, and other relatives and friends nearby, the Tucson had great fuel economy. Getting 29MPG combined city/highway, this CUV works for me from an economic standpoint. With an oath to always present my honest view, I can easily share that I personally would give serious consideration to the Hyundai Tucson. It was truly fun to #DriveHyundai.

It’s all thumbs up for the 2016 Hyundai Tucson.

FullSizeRender (19)I’d like to thank both Hyundai and DriveShop for the chance to experience this vehicle and share my thoughts with my readers. I was provided the excellent opportunity to drive this vehicle through DriveShop. No compensation was received and my opinions are all my own.
