Tips to Beat Back-to-School Germs

KYOTC SeptemberThe new school year is in full swing, and many of us are finding that books and lunch boxes aren’t the only things coming home….germs are creeping around too. Below I’m sharing tips to avoid back-to-school germs.

Being a nurse and a mom, I know that not all germs are created equal, but there are some that I’d like to avoid at all costs. The common kid sickness that shall not be named…you know the one I’m talking about that wrecks havoc at home creating a barf-o-rama.

If there is one takeaway that I’d like to spotlight and dispel? It’s the idea of using cold or allergy medicine to make a child sleepy. That concept is just never…ever…okay.
