Roadtrip: Dutch Wonderland

In Mid-July we took a quick family roadtrip to Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA. It was an old-school family fun amusement park, and both Jack and Allie enjoyed it. Luckily, the weather wasn’t too hot and the lines were not long at any of the rides. Jack thoroughly enjoyed a dive show and made us go back in after we had left to get a picture with the divers. As you can tell by the pic below, he was quite excited. Allie wasn’t as impressed with the divers. 😉 Lancaster is fun – you pass horse & buggies along the local roads. We ate at a yummy restaurant called Good & Plenty. You sit family style at big tables and have fried chicken, mashed potatoes, peas, corn, fresh bread, etc. The family we sat with was from Maryland, and the mom and dad both told us how amused they were looking at Rob and I remembering those days with their own kids. We also passed by Choo Choo Barn which is a HUGE indoor train set/village. It was a fun weekend.
