A Much better week

I am pleased that we had a very nice and quiet week compared to last week’s craziness.

Jack finished up his antibiotic and was allowed to finally return to school. I am so glad. He got his sutures out yesterday and was such a big boy. He let me hold him still while they were removed. Now he only has “stickers” which are steri-strips for 1 more week. The doctor gave him a blue lollipop which was well deserved because he also got a flu shot earlier in the same day. Yikes. He is still on the breathing treatments, but his cough is definitely getting better. He is on the mend and getting ready for Santa.

Allie has improved so much, she is getting stronger and feeding much better than last week. Her schedule is all off and I fear the hospital has completely messed her nighttime sleep pattern, but hopefully over time we can get her back on track,
because sleep is important!

We are laying low for the holidays and plan to enjoy some time doing simple christmas spirity things. 🙂
