Disney Preschool Playdate Ideas for #DisneyKids

I had the excellent opportunity to host a Disney Preschool Playdate once again this year and decided to combine it with an egg hunt this weekend. It was a beautiful day to host a party filled with fun, laughter, games, and Disney goodies. The treats in our box of awesome were a great way to get the party started!

Here are some simple Disney playdate ideas that were a big hit with our preschool crowd:

  • Character Charades – Using pictures of the Disney Princesses along with Disney Junior characters, the kids have a blast acting out their character or offering a simple description (dress color, hair color).
  • Pretend Play – A dress-up station offering various dresses, crowns, and play jewelry, along with a “meet and greet” spot where the kids can pretend to be a certain character and have their picture taken.
  • Music – We have a drum kit, guitar, tambourine, bongos, recorder, and microphone. The kids have a singalong, but even without any instruments, they can march in their own Disney parade.
  • Hide and Seek with Disney Characters – Hide Disney characters (stuffed animals or figures) and create a hide-and-seek game with teams to win a small prize.

Food was a big part of our playdate as well as some sweet treats! We kept things simple with pizza, fruit, munchies, drinks, and Mickey and Minnie cupcakes.

Preschoolers have such adorable conversations and I love listening to their discussions. Here are the results of a little informal Q&A during our Disney Preschool Playdate by #DisneyKids…

Q: Do you think Cinderella would share her glass slippers?
A: Yes, but NOT with her step sisters and definitely not with the lady that isn’t nice (stepmother).

Q: What do you think Minnie Mouse eats?
A: She is not human so I don’t think she eats food. Maybe cheese and ice cream…I love cheese and ice cream.

Q: Look at this awesome map of Walt Disney World Resort.
A: I need to give this to my mom and dad because they don’t know where Mickey and Minnie live.

Q: Who is your favorite Disney Princess and why?
A: I love Elsa because she is strong and brave and has frozen powers.
A: All of them because they are nice and I like their beautiful dresses.
A: I don’t want to pick a princess, I want to be a fairy.

Q: What would you want to do at Disney World?
A: See Mickey and Minnie, Elsa and Anna, and go inside the big castle.

Our #DisneyKids mentioned they love Sofia The First, The Lion Guard, PJ Masks, Doc McStuffins, and other Disney Junior favorites. It was a pleasure to host this preschool playdate and would like to thank American Tourister for this fantastic suitcase. This is the same high-quality you would expect from any American Tourister suitcase and it is a really nice size.
