Memorial Day Weekend

It feels like summer! After the very cold and snowy winter we had, it is now finally warm. It was great weather all weekend long.

We did a lot around the house the past 2 weeks. Jack likes to be Handy Manny or Bob The Builder depending on what he is doing. As you can see, he takes his work very seriously…

A “Jack” of all trades, he recently got to spend some quality time with my brother. He loves his “Uncle Bis”.

So last week, we luckily had Uncle Bis around to help Rob move stuff around. Rob did a ton of things around the house himself including in the soon-to-be baby room, outside gardening, and installing all the air conditioners.

After such hard work on a hot day, we took a break with a special treat – ICE CREAM. We love ice cream. Jack has big eyes for it but usually likes the idea of it more than actually eating it. I’m sure that will change.

It was a productive weekend with a lot of hardwork for Rob, but we did manage to get out and see The Hangover 2. Let’s just say, it made the 1st one look very pg-rated. Rob was laughing so hard during a scene, I almost wanted to take a picture. Rob wants to see Doug’s face when he watches it! We also checked our village pool which opened this weekend and are very excited that we joined this summer. Jack was ready for the water slides. Jack’s still getting over his ear infection and on antibiotic, but it was hot out so he had a few minutes to enjoy the sprinkler.
