Summer sickies stink!

First up, was Allie spiking a 104 temp. 3 days later a rash presented itself and we were relieved it was Roseola and got better quickly in time to celebrate Allie’s 1st birthday!

Next up was Jack. Sounding like a barking dog which led us to a 5-day fever with croup. We had to use his asthma rescue inhaler more than we would have liked, but it helped. After missing a week of camp, he is back to being Jack!

Lastly (I HOPE), we have our Allie girl who was covered in viral
hives (apparently fairly common in babies as an immune-system response to a virus). Which would be…viral croup. The hives are finally gone but the croup and it’s lousy barking cough are not.

We are ready to resume our summer fun soon!

On an awesome note, Jack was chosen for the 2nd time this summer as camper of the day in his group. Great job, Jack!
